In literature, the word “parallax” is used to describe a situation where the writer narrates a series of events while using the points of view of different characters.

“Parallactic narration” refers to the situation where a story or situation is rendered from more than one point of view in different parallactic focalizations.

Also, writers allow their readers to experience parallactic narrations when they tell stories from the points of view of villainized characters.

Like in a retelling of “Cinderella”, the story was from the point of view of one of the ugly stepsisters to portray the complexity of our reality.
