What did Scout and Jem find in the Radley’s Tree?

On several visits to the tree on the Radley property, Jem and Scout uncover several items. On one occasion, when Scout reaches into the knothole of Radley’s tree, she comes up with a couple of sticks of chewing gum and chews them. She tells Jem, who makes her spit it out.

On other visits, Jem and Scout stumble upon an assortment of treasures. They find two old Indian head pennies which they both keep, a medal from a spelling bee competition, a golden pocket watch, two figurines that were carved out of bars of soap, and a ball of twine.
