What does Joe Martin say are the four questions we must answer for ourselves?

The founder and president of RealWorld University, Joe Martin gave a speech during the NACADA 2005 National Conference. His speech was about serving other people in which he gave four questions that can help people reflect on their current situation. That way, it would help us deal with issues instead of making excuses.

Here are the four questions to guide us:

  1. If serving your college was a crime, would there be enough evidence to convict you?
  2. If your paycheck was determined only by your serving, how long would you survive on it?
  3. If everybody was like you, would people quit their jobs?
  4. Do you brighten up a room when you enter it or when you leave it?
