Which of the following is not a wave on the electromagnetic spectrum

A). Microwave

B). Visible Light Wave

C). Radio Wave

D). Surface Wave

A

The electromagnetic spectrum comprises all the ranges of wavelengths of every electromagnetic radiation or electromagnetic wave. The waves are arranged in order of frequencies and wavelengths. The waves are microwaves, radio waves, x-rays, visible light, ultraviolet, infrared, and gamma rays.

Surface waves however are a kind of seismic or mechanical wave that moves along the interface between different media, an example being gravitational force.

Electromagnetic waves are free-flowing waves, whereas surface waves are caused by the Earth’s movement.
