Where is bile produced?

Bile is a fluid produced in the liver and stored in the gallbladder. It helps in digestion and also in breaking down fats into fatty acids, which is then taken by the digestive tract into the body. Bile flows from the liver of most vertebrates and then into the gallbladder where it is stored until needed to digest food.
