Spectroscopy is defined as the study and exploration of the electromagnetic spectrum of light. It’s has everything to do with studying the various frequencies that come with electromagnetic radiation. Various electromagnetic waves wavelengths have different colours. Some of the colours are visible through the human eye hence the visible spectrum. For instance, the electromagnetic waves of 700-635nm long are seen by the human eye as red. Therefore, the study and analysis of light according to its component wavelength is called Spectroscopy.
